Notes from the Underworld is a new twice-monthly missive on myths, fairytales, legends, and folklore in relationship to the underworld, a supernatural land of the dead. These essays encompass research I’m compiling to inform a book project. As a triple hybrid of memoir, poetry, and fiction seen through an absurdist lens, the book—Sewing the Ghost—will be weird. But I like weird. Weird is where it’s at. As a bonus, each essay is available as audio.
